#SKINSESH EP 20: NO MORE DRY SKIN!

#SKINSESH EP 20: NO MORE DRY SKIN!

Hi, it’s me, Kim from Bath Box.

In this video, I am exclusively showing you my face mask routine for dry and sensitive skin.

If you have seen any of my other videos, you would know that these are my main skin concerns and if you too have dry skin, then keep reading!

There are five main products that I use in my face mask routine and they are:

This is one of my absolute favourites. The reason I love the konjac sponge so much is because it is 100% natural and biodegradable. Not only is it good for the environment but also your skin too.

The konjac sponge is created from konjac root fibres and as a result is full of minerals and nutrients that nourish your skin while removing dirt and other hidden nasties.

But what I love most, is that unlike other cleansing tools out there, this doesn’t leave your skin feeling dry and irritated after. Instead, it leaves it feeling soft, clean and hydrated.

The reason I use the konjac sponge before applying my face mask is because I find that when my skin in clean, I am able to absorb all the nourishing benefits of my face mask, which now brings me to Step 2.

The face mask I use is our Aussie Pink Clay Mask. This mask is our calming and hydrating clay mask.

If you didn’t know, Pink Clay is one of the gentlest clays you can use on your skin and unlike some others on the market, it doesn’t strip your skin of its natural oils. Instead it helps to keep hold of them whilst deeply helping in the removal of dirt, blackheads, bacteria and toxins from the skin.

The best thing about this mask, is that anyone can use it. If you have sensitive skin, dry or combination skin, this is perfect for you and is why it is my go-to. I instantly feel the wholesome benefits from the earthy ingredients and if you give it a go, I am sure you will love it you!

Face mask removal is no longer messy and an event in itself. This towel is an honest game changer in my opinion and my go-to product to remove all my face masks as well as dry my skin.

The reason I love these face towels over any other ones I have used is because of the unique fibres being able to gently remove a face mask. The fabric is soft and has a plush-like feel to it, kind of feeling like your softest blanket when it touches your skin.

But regardless of all that, you don’t have to scrub your skin dry to remove the product. With just a little bit of water, the
towel delicately holds onto the face mask catching all of the little bits and removing it from your skin without having to pull at it. Making it not only simple, but mess free too.

This is something I cannot live without. I believe moisturising is key to great skin because it helps to lock-in hydration and keep your skins natural oils. This helps to deeply nourish your skin and is something I do at least twice a day.

I always moisturise after using a face mask, cleansing and before applying makeup. I use the hydration moisturiser because my skin is on the drier side and I love how this moisturiser makes my skin feel soft and supple all day long.

I hope you enjoyed learning a little bit about my skin routine and if you have any questions, feel free to send me a message.

Kim xx
